Below are the vision, mission, and goal of Gracepoint Church – it’s why we exist.  Then, there are the Articles of Faith – it’s the truths we stand on. For membership, please read each of the these and acknowledge you agree.  Write a short statement of “your story” – how God changed your life.

We Believe

The Triune God.  We believe in one God-the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe that God existed eternally, is infinite, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe.

The Holy Scripture.  We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, are the inspired Word of God, are inerrant, and contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

Sin, Original and Personal.  We believe that man is born with a sinful nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil.  We believe that personal sin is a voluntary violation of a known law of God.

Atonement.  We believe that Jesus Christ, by the shedding of His blood, His death on the Cross and resurrection, made atonement of sin for everyone; and that whoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is saved.

Repentance.  Repentance, which is a sincere and thorough change of mind in regard to sin, involving a voluntary turning away from sin, is demanded of all.

Regeneration.  We believe that regeneration (new birth), is that work of God where a repentant believer is given a new spiritual life.

Holiness and Sanctification.  We believe that sanctification is the work of God which transforms believers into the likeness of Christ, and that the Holy Spirit helps a believer to do so.

The Church. The community that confesses Jesus Christ as Lord, called together by the Holy Spirit through the Word.  The mission of the Church is to share Christ. The Church fulfills its mission by making disciples through evangelism, education, and compassion.

Baptism, Sacraments. Christian baptism is a sacrament signifying the acceptance of the atonement of Jesus Christ. Communion is a New Testament sacrament, for those who have faith in Christ.

Resurrection, Judgment, Coming of Christ. The Lord Jesus will come again;  the dead will be raised, and final judgment will take place of every person to be judged according to his/her deeds; but that life is assured to all who believe and obediently follow Jesus Christ our Lord.
